These two photos sum up the philosophy of KOTO.
The first an old wok turned into a working basin. The second a chandelier made from used swizzle sticks.
In each the key is to be given a second chance. KOTO which stands for Know One Teach One is about giving second chances. This short video explains the work of KOTO and the journey of its founder Jimmy Pham.
Tonight we dinned at KOTO and were fortunate (again) to have Jimmy speak.
His is a truly an amazing story. KOTO has been a force for good with over a 1000 graduates.
And I offer a shameless plug – if you can donate, it is a good cause.
As an update – on the 27th of December Sandy posted the following photo on her FB site.
Another brick in the wall – a lasting reminder of the group’s donation to a fantastic cause.
